Mike Haggerty
July 3rd, 1954 - December 15th, 2024
Mike Haggerty, 70 of Versailles, Kentucky peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on December 15, 2024 at UK Hospital surrounded by his wife Sherrie, son, Tim (Elizabeth Connor) and friends who loved him dearly.
Mike was born in Charleston West Virginia on July 3, 1954 to the late, John Haggerty and Onilee Trout Haggerty. He graduated from Nitro High School and West Virginia State College with a degree in Transportation. Mike's career in the transportation industry blessed him with many life long friends. Summers were spent at the ball field with Tim, at the lake, and playing golf. All of which again, blessed him with many life long friends. Mike was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church and Discipleship 101 Sunday School Class.
Mike is survived by his only brother Pat Haggerty (Phyllis) who resides in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Rd, Frankfort from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, service will immediately follow at 4:00 pm with Todd Lester officiating. Burial will take place with Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, West Virginia.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mike to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church 495 Duckers Rd. Midway, KY 40347.
