  Efraim “Greg” Gregory of Widefield, Colorado passed away at the age of 90 December 10, 2024. He fought hard for a long time with the effects of Dementia. 

  

  Efraim was born on May 1, 1934 to Efraim L. Gregory, Sr. and Manuela Serrano Gregory in Douglas, Arizona. He went to Douglas High School and upon graduating in 1952, he enlisted in the US Air Force. Efraim was very dedicated and proudly served his country for 20 years as an Inventory Manager, providing critical aircraft parts for the Hurricane Hunters squadron in Bermuda, Savannah Georgia, and Puerto Rico. He also served at SAC Headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska where he retired in 1972. 

  

  Efraim met Connie Lujan in Cheyenne, Wyoming and they were married in 1955. Efraim and Connie started a family in Cheyenne and had five children. Efraim w raised in a loving and close family. Although his Air Force career took him around the world, Efraim always remained close to his parents, two sisters and one brother throughout his life. Family was the most important thing to Efraim and he was most happy when he was with his wife Connie, his children and extended family. 

 

  Efraim was preceded in death by his father Efraim L. Gregory, Sr., mother Manuela Serrano Gregory, sisters Lydia Jordan, and Dora Bojorquez. He is survived by his brother Mario Gregory (Peggy Gregory), wife Connie E. Gregory, son Anthony “Tony” L. Gregory, daughter Irene Torres (Troy Vialpando), son Efraim L. “Buddy” Gregory, III (Sandra Gregory), son Paul L. Gregory, son Benjamin A. Gregory (Gina Gregory) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 

  On behalf of Efraim and his family, we wish to express heartfelt gratitude to the Veterans Administration, Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care, Amada Senior Care of Colorado Springs, Sages Elder Care, and all of the devoted care givers who provided compassionate care for Efraim during the last two years of his life. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association. 

 

  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 27, 2024 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 5354 US Highway 85, Colorado Springs, CO, 80911. Interment services will follow at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
