Leonard Franklin Plowman
February 16th, 1937 - December 19th, 2024
Leonard Franklin Plowman, 87, husband of Nancy Plowman, passed away on December 19, 2024 in Winchester, Kentucky. Leonard was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on February 16, 1937 to the late Leonard Plowman and Daisy Bond Plowman. Leonard was a pastor with the United Pentecostal Church International Organization from 1970-2017, touching many lives through his ministry.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his three daughters, Harlena Kay (Robert) McFarland, Sherry Lynn (William) McGraw, Marketa Ann (Loren) Rudd and Sherry Lynn (William) McGraw; ten grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one sister, Teresa Rose Thomas, and many dear friends and fellow ministers.
In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his son, Leonard Franklin Plowman Jr.; and siblings, Bill, Francis, Etta May, Mary Belle and Lucille.
A funeral service for Leonard will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 12pm at Greater Faith Apostolic Church (3416 Clays Mill Rd. Lexington, KY 40503) with a visitation from 10am till the time of service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Nicholasville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua McGraw, Jeremy McGraw, Jaron McGraw, Brody McGraw and Gentry Clark.
