Robert "Bobby" M. Williams

It’s with heavy hearts we remember Robert M. Williams, affectionately known as Bobby, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the young age of 27 in Belchertown, MA. Bobby was born on June 17, 1997, in Northampton, MA.

Raised in the Pelham-Shutesbury area, he made Belchertown his forever home in 2006. Known for being kind, considerate, and genuinely funny, Bobby brought joy and laughter to everyone he met.

Hardworking and dedicated, Bobby thrived in the field of construction, starting his career with Geeleher Construction and then contributing his talents to Bradway Construction as a machine operator and laborer. He was a natural with equipment and was always eager to enhance his skills. But beyond the machinery and projects, Bobby’s true pride and joy was his daughter, Vanessa. She was the sunshine in his life, and those close to him knew there was nothing on Earth that rivaled the love he had for her.

Bobby had a deep love for the outdoors, and you could often find him at Quabbin Reservoir, fishing or just enjoying the natural beauty around him. Whether working on cars, riding BMX bikes or motorcyles, ice skating, skiing, or snowmobiling, Bobby lived for the moments that got his heart racing and his spirits lifted.

His cherished family includes his mom, Brenda (Weaver) Carey, his beloved daughter Vanessa Williams, and his sisters, Meghan and Deana Carey.  Bear, his companion whom he dearly loved, will also miss him.

To remember Bobby, calling hours are scheduled for Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with words of remembrance at 6:30 pm at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Bobby’s spirit will forever be alive, remembered as a humble, caring soul.
