Timothy Printup
February 13th, 1945 - December 19th, 2024
Timothy Printup, a beloved father and grandfather passed away at the age of 79 on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
He is survived by his sister Diane Smith; three children, Richard (Heather) Printup, Brenda (Walter) Kaechele, and Teresa (Mark) Scerbo; eight grandchildren, Kevin and Kristen Printup, Jennifer and Alexander Kaechele, and Savannah, Kristinah, Mark and David Scerbo; as well as two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Rochelle (Lennox) Printup.
Timothy was born on February 13, 1945 in Syracuse, NY to Mabel Hill. Raised in Nedrow, NY, he was a proud member of the Oneida Indian Nation of NY, Wolf Clan. On November 10, 1967, he married Rochelle Printup. He dedicated many years of service to the Turning Stone Casino before retiring in 2007.
Known for his strong work ethic and handiness, Timothy was a dedicated handyman who found joy in fixing things. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors. Timothy’s craftsmanship and generosity touched many lives. He had a relaxed pace of life, often enjoying leisurely drives and nature walks.
A devoted provider for his family, he will be remembered for his peaceful demeanor, generous spirit, and unique sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Calling hours will be held at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home at 2584 Field Lane, Lafayette, NY on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA).
