Molly Ann Dolan

Molly Ann Dolan, a talented chef and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully at her home in Multnomah, Oregon, on December 8, 2024, just one day shy of her 70th birthday.

Born on December 9, 1954, in Portland, Oregon, Molly was the daughter of Pat and Dorthy Dolan. She grew up alongside her two brothers— Doug and Tim in a family that shared a deep love for cooking. This passion for food became a defining part of Molly’s life. She attended high school in Boise before returning to Portland to pursue her culinary dreams.

Molly’s talent in the kitchen was unmatched. She owned and operated Pasta ala Carte, a pasta shop in Northwest Portland where she delighted customers with her handmade creations. Beyond her shop, Molly worked as a private chef, sharing her culinary gifts with families across the Portland area. Her food was celebrated by all who had the privilege of enjoying it.

Outside of the kitchen, Molly found joy in tending to her garden and caring for the many pets she loved throughout her life. Her warmth and creativity left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Molly is predeceased by her parents and two of her brothers, Doug and Mike who died before Molly was born. She is survived by her brother Tim of Boise, Idaho.

In accordance with Molly’s wishes, no services will be held. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she be remembered for the joy she brought through her cooking and the kindness she shared with others.
