Jennifer Lee Herschler, 63, of Kuna, Idaho, passed from this life to the gardens of Heaven December 22, 2024. Born on November 19, 1961, Jennifer grew up in Camas, Washington, where she graduated from Camas High School in 1979. Her adventurous spirit led her to a life filled with remarkable experiences, including commercial fishing in Alaska, working in Texas and California, studying in Seattle and Ellensburg, and traveling extensively across Europe. Eventually, she settled in Boise, Idaho, where she built a fulfilling career and raised her beloved daughters.

Jennifer had a zest for life and a heart full of kindness. She found joy in fishing, camping, gardening, and cheering on her favorite football teams—the Seattle Seahawks and the Boise State Broncos. Above all else, she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. Her quick wit and sense of humor brought laughter to any situation, and her love for her family knew no bounds.

As a single mother, Jennifer devoted herself to raising her daughters with unwavering strength and compassion. When her daughter Ashley was born with Down syndrome, Jennifer became a fierce advocate for equal rights and opportunities. Despite the heartbreak of losing Ashley in 2007, Jennifer's resilience and love for her family remained steadfast.

Jennifer found peace in nature—whether at the Oregon coast, in the mountains, or tending to her garden. She had a gift for making those around her smile with her quirky sense of humor and playful spirit.

She is survived by her daughter Michaela; grandchildren Hailey, Zak, Gracelynn, and Alexandra; her firstborn Tina; sisters Becky Turner of Vancouver, WA, and Cindy Herschler of Seattle, WA; as well as her special ex-son-in-law Kris and dear friend Christie. Jennifer was preceded in death by her daughter Ashley; best friend Cindy; and parents Robert and Janet Herschler.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. May Jennifer’s memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
