Johnny C. Padilla
October 5th, 1943 - December 18th, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Johnny C. Padilla of Broomfield CO, 81, announce his passing at home on December 18, 2024. Born Oct 5, 1943 to Juan and Tillie Padilla of Grants, NM. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia ( Skibo ) Padilla and sons, Chris ( Darja ) Padilla, grand-daughter, Francesca Padilla of San Jose, CA and Kevin Padilla of Northglenn, CO, a sister, Lisa ( Richard ) Massey of Albuquerque NM and a brother Ernest ( Mariann ) Padilla of Glendale AZ.
Johnny was a 1961 graduate of Brown Military Academy, Glendora, CA. He attended college in Las Cruces, NM before joining the Navy. Johnny proudly served 20 years in the Navy with tours of duty in Taiwan, Philippines, Japan, Hawaii and stateside in Washington DC, Virginia Beach and Denver. He was a skilled woodworker with many projects displayed throughout his home. He was an avid volunteer in retirement. Volunteering with his church foodbank, with the Knights of Columbus, the VFW, the Broomfield Habitat Restore, and as one of the Broomfield Rec Center's woodshop managers. He enjoyed his life and retirement to the max. He will be missed.
