Patricia Ann Welsh
November 26th, 1938 - December 29th, 2024
Patricia Ann Welsh 86, of Bruneau Idaho, passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2024 at home with family beside her.
Patricia was born on November 26th,1938 in McCall, Idaho to Ila & Fred Hamrick. She was raised in Riggins, Idaho on the family homestead up Race Creek. After high school she married Gene Swift, later she married Edward Welsh on April 3rd, 1961. She spent her life following her husband in the construction industry, all while working in the service industry herself.
In 1974 Ed & Pat moved to Bruneau, Idaho where they purchased the Pastime bar, established roots and enjoyed raising their family in the community.
Patricia is survived by Randy (Shelly) Swift, Carla Render, Eddie (Kareen) Welsh, Renee Welsh, and Angela (Larry) O’Connor. Patricia is the grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Great Grandmother to 39 and Great Great Grandmother to 6.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Ed, Parents Fred and Ila Hamrick, her Brothers John and Jim Hamrick and her son-in-laws John Render and Stan Cole.
Family was the most important thing to Pat. She loved her faith, her community but most of all, her family.
