Paulette Grace Gordon, 79, of Lake Mills passed away on January 1, 2025 at Watertown Regional Hospital

Paulette was born on April 7, 1945, in Illinois. After high school she met the love of her life, Wallace. They were quickly married and began their life together in Florida. Soon after Wallace was offered a job at Butler manufacturing Fort Atkinson WI, and they moved to WI. While raising a family she worked various professions in and around Jefferson County, including waitress at various restaurants and as a seamstress at Schwieger in Jefferson.

In 1989. Paulette and family moved to Kentucky after Wallace retired. After Wallace’s passing in 1995 Paulette would soon find her most fulfilling roles working at Wal-Mart. Her job at Wal-Mart eventually took her out west to California as well as Arizona. In May of 2021, she made it full circle when she moved back to Wisconsin.

She enjoyed doing her crafts as well as scrapbooking. Additionally, she loved to cook, and would often hand write recipes from various cookbooks as well as videos she would see online. Although, she loved it when her son Scott cooked for her. It should not be forgotten that Paulette always had a love for bears and during her time amassed quite a collection.

Paulette is survived by her children, Scott Gordon, Mike Gordon, Mary (Carl) Geib, Nicole (Felicia) Gordon, granddaughter Brittany, and grandson Jeremy.

Paulette was preceded in death by her Husband Wallace, Son Charles, brothers David and Charles, as well as her parents.

Memorials can be made to the family of Paulette Gordon to handle funeral home arrangements.

A celebration of life will take place at the Lake Mills American Legion on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 1PM until 5PM.

Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson

We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
