Janice Faye Gentry

Janice Faye Gentry, 86, passed away on January 3, 2025 in Louisville. She was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on January 24, 1938 to the late Morris and Edna Sewell Dalton.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Gary) Rice, of Frankfort, Edna (David) Sharp, of Jamestown, sons, Tim (Kathleen) Lawson, of Louisville, James (Ruth) Lawson, of Florida, her brother, Morris (Nancy) Dalton, her sister Hope (Jim)Johnson. Grandchildren, Tiffany(Todd) Smither, Lance (Bethany) Williams, Jared (Shaunda) Sharp, Danielle (Colton Hadley) Sharp, Christy Lawson, Jeni Lawson, Deja(Jeff) Lawson Cowan, Donald (Rebecca) Lawson, Rebekah Lawson, David (Sharon) Lawson, John Lawson, Kari Lawson (Perry) Erdly, and great grandchildren, Dakota Polston, Abigail Smither, Lucas Williams, Elijah Williams, Gabriel Williams, Esli Williams, Micaiah Williams, Brodie Stockton, Marlie Lucas, Averi Sharp, Noah Sharp, Rett Hadley, Silas Hadley, Isabella Lawson, Nicholas Lawson, Elijah Lawson, Liam Lawson, Mason Lawson, Bria Erdly, Aveline Erdly, Clara Erdly, Daniella Erdly, Elisa Erdyl. As well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM, at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Road Frankfort, Ky. Visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service beginning at 9:30 AM.
