It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our loving dad, grandfather and friend, R.C. Bates.
Talented actor, comedian and poet R.C. Bates went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2024 at his home in Arvada, CO at the age of 80. He was survived by his wife Slovenka and his daughters Delicia and Deidre. He was preceded by his parents, brother Bobby and his son (our brother) Richard. We have no doubt the Almighty will find him and his character as extraordinary as we did. We are sure he is wearing his steampunk top hat strutting with his walking stick as one of our angels is looking down on us today. His creative passion with woodworking, art with rocks, poetry, jewelry, hats and his love for God will forever be remembered.
