John Patrick Derrick Trujillo

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of John Patrick Derrick Trujillo on November 12th, 2024, at the age of 77 years old. He was born March 22nd, 1947 and was surrounded by his family during his final days.

John is survived by his beloved wife Nora Coss de Trujillo and his daughters Anjelica, Cynthia, and son John. Grandchildren Brissa, Alex, Amaris and Isaac and two great grandkids Isabella and Elijah.

Raised and born in Albuquerque, NM with his tender loving siblings Joe, Vicky, Carol, and Kathy.

Preceded in death by his parents: Jose M. Trujillo Lesperance and Janet Monaghan McGregor.

“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” John’s favorite sayings: ‘we are going to be rich; I tell you’ Little did he know how much wealth he gave those around him with his ability to make one laugh, cry, and inspire during hard times and good times. His ability to take away your pain and easily make them into gains was insurmountable.

Besides spending time with family, John’s extra ordinary gift was painting and music. His legacy and gifts will continue to live with his beloved family, and may his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
