In Loving Memory

Charles Wilson Lee, age 63, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at Lexington Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 2, 1961, Charles was the son of the late Harold Braxton Lee and the late Lois B. Lee. In addition to his caregiver and former wife, Theresa “Tee” Masters, Charles is survived by a sister, Rae Lynn Eicher of Selma, NC; a brother, Ralph Blaine Eicher of Hubert, NC; a step-sister, Nan L. Jones of Smithfield, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

“Charlie” graduated from Smithfield-Selma High School in 1980 and continued his education at Western Carolina University and later at the International Air Academy where he discovered his passion for the airline industry. After several years with the airlines, he spent the remainder of his professional career in marketing and sales.

“Chas” was a vibrant soul and a bigger-than-life character with loads of charm and an outgoing disposition. He never met a stranger and could have fun wherever he went. He loved life, helping people, dancing, laughter, motorcycles, his friends, and family. His legacy of Love, Laughter, and Loyalty will live on in those who knew him and loved him.

At Charles’ request, there will be no funeral service.
