Sondra Bollinger Massie
July 8th, 1945 - January 10th, 2025
Sondra Bollinger Massie, 79, of Lexington (formerly Frankfort) passed away on January 10, 2025, under the compassionate care of Hospice. She was born in Pittsboro, Mississippi on July 8,1945 to the late Leslie Kenneth and Myrtice Bryant Bollinger.
She was a member of South Frankfort Presbyterian Church and a regular attendee at Trinity PCA.
Sondra owned and operated Town & Country Veterinary Services in Frankfort with her late husband for many years before retirement.
Sondra was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her most treasured role was Nana to her grandson. She was beautiful, patient, loving, and sassy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Melissa Massie, Berea and Amee (David) Osbon, Richmond; beloved grandson, Xavier Osbon; sisters, Barbara Powers and Mary (John) Pilcher, of Mississippi; niece, Katherine Pilcher, of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David Neal Massie; her sister, Betty Seamann; niece, Cathy Halbert; and nephews Keith Seemann and Gary Seamann.
A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, January 31, 2025, at 4pm, at Clark Legacy Center, Frankfort, led by Dr. Daniel Massie and Curt Gardner. The visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity PCA and LIFE House for Animals.
