Ana Erebia
September 14th, 1932 - January 14th, 2025
Ana “Mamo” Erebia, born on September 14,1932 in Piedras Negras, Coahulla, Mexico was sent to her eternal home on January 14,2025. She was the beloved daughter of Candido Cervantes and Cleotide Zapata-Cervantes.Ana was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.
Ana was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and was a homemaker. Ana enjoyed swimming on hot summer days, cooking heartfelt meals for her family, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, but most of all she enjoyed going dancing with her beloved husband, John.
Ana is preceded in death by her parents Candido Cervantes and Cleotide Zapata-Cervantes, her husband John Erebia, and daughter Delia Erebia, and her grandson Jacinto Zavala.
Ana’s memory lives on by her children Matilda and Gilbert Erebia, Anne Granados, her grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Ana will remember her for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, her deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
The Celebration of Life to honor the life of Ana “Mamo” Erebia will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2025, at 11:00 A.M— Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
