**In Memoriam: Earl Dean Harris**

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Earl Dean Harris, who left us on July 28, 2024, at the age of 93. Born in Sugar City, Idaho, on September 20, 1930, Earl lived a life filled with service, dedication, and love.

Dean, as he was known to many, proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Rising to the rank of Master Sergeant, he demonstrated unwavering commitment and earned the respect of his peers.

Following his distinguished military service, Dean transitioned to the world of construction, where he became a manager specializing in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). Throughout his career, he was known for his expertise and strong work ethic.

Dean's personality was marked by his energetic spirit, loyalty, kindness, and considerate nature. He brought joy and warmth to those around him and was a pillar of strength for his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Michael Harris; daughters, Deb Heywood (Harris) and Jody Lamonte (Harris); brother, Jack Harris; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, MarJean; his parents, Earl and Lillie Harris (Likes); and his siblings, including one brother and three sisters.

A private funeral service will be held in Meridian, Idaho. At a later date, a graveside service with military honors will take place at Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, Rigby, Idaho.
