Arthur Daily Wyatt

Art was born in Ferndale, WA on Feb 14, 1939, to Howard and Marie Wyatt. Art passed away on Nov 17, 2024. He lived most of his adult years in Edmonds and his younger years were spent in Bellingham and Snohomish with his parents, sister Karen and brother Alan.   

Art started his working career at Boeing but quickly realized that the lazy B was not for him. From there he went into law enforcement with the Snohomish police department for a short time before moving to the Edmonds police department where he would eventually retire as a sergeant in 1989.  Art was able to enjoy more of his favorite hobbies when he retired, like salmon fishing and doing projects around the house. Art also enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles that led to him working part time for several years with a funeral escort service that included servicing and maintaining the company’s fleet. Art was a car guy too and he liked to maintain his own cars and helping others with repairs.  He even drove school bus for a few years in his spare time. 

Art was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his wife Daisy whom he was married to for over 40 years, his son Matt, daughter Lisa, and four grandchildren; and his sister, Karen. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, at 2:00 PM at Becks’s Restlawn Memorial Park, 23800 104th Ave W, Edmonds, WA 98020.
