Loving Husband, Father and Pop Pop.
Danny Elwood Kazee, 75, husband of Melody Rigsby Kazee. Passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2024. He was born at home in Ashland, KY on Christmas Eve, 1949, to the late Edith Adams Kazee and Marvin Daniel Kazee. He was retired from the Kentucky State Police as a driver’s examiner and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Besides his wife, Melody, of 51 years, those left to cherish his memory includes his daughters, Miranda (Patrick) Mulloy, Kelly (Mike) Parsons; also, to celebrate their Pop Pop are his grandchildren, Abby Parsons, Hunter Parsons, Duncan Mulloy, and Wip Mulloy.
In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Mae Jones; brother, James Edward Kazee; and most precious grandson, Lucas Michael Parsons.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 1:30pm, Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. Family will meet at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, at approximately 12:40pm to line up for funeral procession to Camp Nelson.
