Donald Duane Berg
June 17th, 1935 - January 18th, 2025
Donald D. Berg, born in Minot, North Dakota on June 17, 1935, was called home to his Heavenly Father on January 18, 2025. He was 89 years old. Don died peacefully, surrounded by his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. Don was loved by all and was a man of great faith, which he shared with his family and community. He dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and so enjoyed attending many ballgames and school performances. Don is survived by five children Duane (Valerie) Berg, Dale (Allysun) Berg, Donelle (Danny) Finuf, Dean Berg, and Deanna (Mark) Burgess, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, siblings Gene (Tammy) Berg, Joyce Summers, Mark Berg, and Bruce Berg (Sally Logan) and sister-in-law Irene Sherman. Don was preceded in death by his precious wife, Arlene Jo (Utt) Berg, his mother and father, infant daughter Donna Jo, and grandson Matthew Carl Berg. Don and Arlene are together again, sitting at the feet of Jesus. Although he will be greatly missed here on earth, we have the hope in Jesus’ death and resurrection that we will also be reunited. Services will be held at Fellowship Bible Church on June 7, 2025 and he will be interred at Arizona Veterans’ Memorial at Marana.
