On November 12, 2024, Scott left this world surrounded by those who loved and cared for him.

Scott was born on January 1, 1969 and raised in Connecticut. He moved to Seattle in the mid-90s.

Scott worked as a Project Manager for IBM and NCR. In 2015 he became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Aldercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center before becoming his father’s full-time caregiver.

He was a lover of movies and could name actors and quote lines. He was passionate about music, skiing, and golf. Scott attended hundreds of shows, counted down the days until ski season and kept a watchful eye on the weather in the mountains. When the weather turned warmer he was polishing his golf clubs, itching to get on the course. Scott was amazing on drums, was a member of many bands and most recently recorded on his brother’s album. More often than not his hands and feet found the beat. He cherished fly fishing trips with his family from Alaska to Argentina. Scott was an excellent planner-he always had a list-and hated being late!

Scott will be remembered as someone who would give you the shirt off his back; someone who never hesitated to help out; and someone who loved deeply and unconditionally.

The world is a better place because of Scott, and he is deeply missed by so many.

Scott is survived by his mother, Lydia; his brother and best friend, Brian; his wife and soul mate, Karyn; his step-kids, Dylan and Jayde; and his furry pal, Rocky. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Francis Saunders.
