Larry Joseph Badker, Sr.
April 1st, 1945 - February 1st, 2025
Larry Joseph Badker Sr. from Evans Colorado, formerly from Platteville Colorado, has died on February 1st, 2025.
Larry was born on April 1st, 1945, in Osage Iowa. He was raised between Iowa and South Dakota.
Larry moved to Colorado in 1968 and met and married Isabell the next year. Together they had three children: Larry Jr. (Charlene) Badker, Curtis D. Badker, and Tina Wirth. They have 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Curtis D. Badker, his mother and father, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
He leaves behind his wife and 2 children. His 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters, Nancy Potter and Norma Colgrove, his brother, Bernie (Dedrie) Badker, and many nieces and nephews.
Larry loved to play baseball and enjoyed going gambling with his wife.
He was a great joke teller to everyone he met. Larry always left the people he met with a laugh or a smile.
There will be a potluck reception held after the service at the Longmont Bowling Alley.
