It is with heavy hearts that the family of Connie B. Zarba announces her passing on February 4, 2025. Born on a snow-kissed Christmas Day in 1940, Connie enriched the lives of everyone she met over her 84 vibrant years. Her journey ended in Fort Myers, FL, leaving behind a legacy built on love, laughter, and the unwavering courage that was the hallmark of her spirit.

Connie's life was a tapestry of rich and varied experiences. Known for her ambitious nature, her soothing presence which enveloped every room, while her humor brought light even in the darkest of times. To her family, she was a beacon of kindness, a steadfast pillar in their lives. She had many talents but her first love was cooking for friends and family. She will surely be missed by all.

She leaves behind Fred Sanders, her devoted life partner and his family, whose dedication mirrored her own resilient spirit. Her father, Fred Todaro, and her two children, Elizabeth Z. Kendra and husband Ronald, and Michael Zarba and his partner Pam, knew her as a nurturing and inspiring mother. Her presence will also be deeply missed by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye: Nicole K. Arter and her husband Harry, Anthony J. Kendra, Nicholas Zarba, Philip Zarba, Zachary Zarba, Colton Arter, and Adalyn Arter.

Connie's life was enriched by the unshakeable bond with and her cherished brothers, Jack Beasley and his wife Janice, and Larry Beasley and his wife Myra. She was predeceased by her mother Paula Lilly Todaro, birth father Rex Pychon and brothers Bud Beasley and Roger Pychon.

In her honor, a ceremony and service will be scheduled with Arlington National Cemetery, deserving of her lifelong dedication and service.

In place of flowers, honoring her spirit of generosity and kindness is encouraged by contributing to the Wounded Warrior Project — a cause extending her giving nature beyond her days with us.

Connie B Zarba will be dearly missed, yet her legacy persists in the laughter and love of her children and grandchildren and the vivid memories that she wove into the lives she touched. As we celebrate her life, we remember the echoes of her laughter and the warmth of her love, lingering like the gentle music of evening.

May she rest in peace, with love and light.
