Margaret "Midge" Jean Krebs
September 28th, 1924 - January 31st, 2025
Margaret Jean Krebs passed on Friday, January the 31 ,2025 into The Loving Eternal Care of her Lord and Savior!
In honor of Our Mom , 9/28/2024, we celebrated her 100th Birthday on the Grounds at Mt. St. Francis Nursing Center. What a Beautiful Day it was as Mom was surrounded by Cherished Family and Friends!
She was born September 28, 1924. Mabel and Jay Edward were her Parents. Paul Edward was her younger brother. They lived in Sault St.Marie, Michigan. The only True Love of her life was her Devoted husband Edward Krebs. They met and married in 1948 in her hometown. Their surviving Children are Jeff and Daughter in law, Linda, Mark, and Daughter in law, Barbara and Kathy. Her loving grandchildren are Allison and Jason Fuller, Matt and Tamara Krebs, Scott Krebs, Dustin and Kelsey Black, and Jessica and Laurence Coppedge. Thirteen great grandchildren are in the Family for whom we are so thankful.
Margaret attended The Henry Ford Nursing School and completed her Education as an RN in 1944.She attended many WW 2 Veterans in a Hospital in Sault St Marie. She touched many lives throughout her life as she Nursed.
One of her favorite Mottos was :
“ Let Go and Let God”.
As Margaret grew up she sang in a Choir with her entire Family. Even in her last years at Mt. St. Francis Nursing Home she enjoyed singing Hymns and attending Church Services provided by Bill Kittle from Crossroads Ministry. The Krebs Family enjoyed camping, and boating, in Colorado. Margaret’s favorite hobby was playing Bridge. She also played piano and organ. She will be Dearly missed . Her Family’s many cherished memories will be forever precious in our hearts.
A service is pending at Pikes Peak Cemetery.
We are so very grateful for the many years of loving and kind care that Mom received day in and day out at Mt St Francis Nursing Center. Also, The Loving Care Mom that was given to her at St Francis Hospital, Common Spirit Hospice, and by her Dear Chaplain and Friend Tina who was by her side through long hours proceeding her Passing. May Our Lord richly bless each of you. The Name of the Lord is a Strong Tower; The Righteous run to it and are Safe.
