Dannela "Dani" Kay Bell
January 7th, 1967 - February 5th, 2025
Dannela ‘Dani’ Kay Bell, age 58, of San Andreas, CA entered into rest on February 5, 2025 in Roseville, CA. She was born in Lewiston, ID on January 7, 1967 to Dennis and Glenda (Jameson) Rose. She moved to Calaveras County as a child and spent the majority of her life there. Dani graduated from Calaveras High School in 1985. She was a resident of San Andreas for the past 10 years but previously made her home in Mountain Ranch.
Dani was employed at Calaveras Public Utility District, where she worked as a customer service representative. At CPUD, she was more than just a coworker; she was a light in the office, always brightening the days of others with her infectious laughter and witty sense of humor. She had many hobbies including traveling, cooking, watching Martha Stewart, singing karaoke, reading, sewing, camping and gardening. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow. You could often find her and Bob tending to the vegetable garden, sharing their harvest with family and friends. She loved the ocean and was happiest enjoying the sand and the sun while listening to the waves, but her favorite days were spent at home snuggling with her cats and spending time with her family. Her grandkids were her biggest joy. They lovingly referred to her as ‘Gimmie’. Her best friends were her daughters, and she loved to share every moment with them.
Dannela is survived by her soulmate, Bob Schock of Mountain Ranch; daughters, Katy (Joe Lopez) Atnip of Mountain Ranch, Nikki Bell of Sonora; stepdaughter, Nichole Clark-Morris of Mountain Ranch; sister, Dennisa (Kerry) Harris of Glencoe; stepsister, Dana (Gary) Ashbee; grandchildren, Landen Lopez, Gracie Lopez, Jameson Lopez; Dillon Clark-Morris, Jax Fuller, and Maverick Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanny and Glenda White; daughter, Kasaundra Atnip.
