Virginia Elinor Gurland
November 10th, 1939 - February 14th, 2025
Virginia Elinor Gurland born in Nogales, Arizona on November 10, 1939, died at her home in Tucson, Arizona of natural causes on February 14, 2025. An Arizona native , she returned to Tucson, a place she loved, after traveling to many air force bases in the U.S. and abroad. Virginia is survived by her two daughters, Katheryn Lynn Kelly and Gina Kelly Sager, her son-in-law Todd Sager and her beloved grandson, Gunnar Sager, as well as her husband of 46 plus years David Gurland, M.D. Virginia was a charismatic spirit who did everything intensely ; including running, gardening, cooking or loving others. Anyone who met her will always remember her for her energy, her passion and her smile. She made a house a home and cared for the environment including the wildlife as she nurtured the visiting javelina for years. She will be greatly missed by all.
