Ms. Anna Marie Dalton, 83, of Lexington passed away on February 23, 2025 under the care of Davidson Health and Rehab. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mozelle (Peoples) Young and wife of the late John Saunders Dalton, Jr..

Anna is survived by her daughters, Tamara Denny, Karen Dillard (Steve), Joannie Smith (Stan), Lori Stone (Gary); her grandchildren, Danielle Botello-Joffe (Saul), Brittany Tignor (Zach), Lindsey Smith (Robert), Ashley Vanderberry (Andrew), Bradley Dillard (Taylor), Chad Bailey (Sara), Jason Stone (Nicole), and Paige Jackson (Graham); her step-grandchildren, Ben Smith; her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Daniel, Hayley, Tucker, Emma, Reagan, Owen, Caleb, Ivy, Amelia, Ezra, and Stevie; her sister, Thelma Duke; her five step-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Tommy Young.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ereka Bailey; her step-grandchild, Will Smith; and her brother, Jimmy Young.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral and Cremation Service, 300 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro NC 27408 on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 beginning at 2:00PM. A reception will be held following the service for those wishing to greet with the family.
