Thomas Eugene Jaques was born on July 27, 1934, in Plattsburg, MO, to his loving parents, Joe Frank and Hazel Fern (Cavender) Jaques. He left his earthly home in Highlands Ranch, CO, to go to his heavenly home on February 16, 2025. He had been suffering from Lewy Body Dementia for 10 years.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Georganne (Straub), married for 67 years, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
He graduated in 1952 from Plattsburg High School and from Central Missouri State College at Warrensburg, MO in 1956 with a BS degree in accounting. He served in the US Army from 1957-1959, worked for New York Life Insurance Company and owned a flower shop in Aurora, CO.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church,5400 S. Yosemite St, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025,at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anchor Center for Blind Children, 2550 Roslyn St, Denver, CO 80238 or to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill, S. W. Lilburn, GA 30047.
