Virginia Cerdas passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Virginia was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico to Maria Rivera and Domingo Eli Rodriguez on February 13, 1951. She was a resident of Amsterdam, New York for most of her life.
She was dedicated to her job where everyone knew her as “Ma”. Virginia enjoyed every part of her life; she was loved by many.
Virginia leaves behind her daughters, Ana “Cesy” Cerdas and Sarah Pacheco; granddaughter, Daja Coffin; grandson, Chase Latimer; sisters, Naomi, Rebecca and Ruth; brothers, Dixon, Harry, Hector and Charlie. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Aramy, Abraham and Milagros.
Calling hours for Virginia will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 11am until 1pm, where sharing of memories will be held at 1pm at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
