Richard Stanley Dobson
March 12th, 1935 - February 2nd, 2025
Richard S. Dobson, MAJ (Ret) United States Army, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 2, 2025. Born on March 12, 1935 to Thomas and Eleanor Dobson in Renton, Washington.
He lived a remarkable life filled with love and adventure. He was a true American war hero, who served 24 years with four tours in Vietnam as a Combat Engineer, Combat Medic, Special Forces, Airborne Ranger with over 2,000 documented airborne jumps, along with many combat medals and awards including a Bronze Star and Expert Combat Medal Badge.
He touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind son, Todd (Rhonda), daughter Sherri (Mark) and Michele. Grandchildren Jessica (Kevin), Jamisen (Natalie), Nicci (Nick), Amanda (Chris), Corey (Raquel) and Maddye (Cody). Great-grandchildren Easton, Morgan, Delaney, Austin, Sheamus, Lachlan, Suttyn, Stetson and Emelia.
Rest in Peace. You will always be in our hearts.
