James McMurray "Jimmy" Loft, 51, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Palm Bay, Florida. Born on February 13, 1974, in Melbourne, Florida, James lived a life filled with love, hard work, and deep connections with those around him.
James is survived by his wife, April; his children, J.J., Dylan, Morgan, and Megan; his mother, June; his father, John; and his brother, Kenny. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
A man who never met a stranger, James was known for his warm heart and unwavering love for family and friends. He found joy in working with his hands and had a passion for camping and fishing—activities that allowed him to embrace the outdoors while creating lasting memories with loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on March 30, 2025, at Wickham Park’s Back Lake Pavilion #4 in Melbourne, Florida. The gathering will take place from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM at 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne, FL 32935.
James will always be remembered for the love he shared and the kindness he extended to everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
