Geraldine Carter

Geraldine Carter was born on August 24, 1946, to Henry Campbell and Mamie Campbell in Shubuta, Mississippi. She was the last survivor of three siblings Henry Louis Campbell (brother) and Pearline Montgomery (sister).

On May 29, 1966, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Willis E. Carter. She was a loving and devoted wife of fifty-eight years. Following their union in marriage, Geraldine relocated with her husband to Manzano Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM. Their union was blessed with one daughter, Kasandra. While maintaining her family, Geraldine worked for the phone company as an engineer and continued her education, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Following her retirement from the phone company she started her own business.

Mrs. Carter will continue to live in the hearts of her loved ones, including a loving, devoted husband, a daughter, two grandchildren, Zoe Seamon-Baumgartner and Xian Seamon-Baumgartner, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 13th, 2025, at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM from 10:00am-12:00pm. Burial services to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM from 2:30pm-3:00pm.
