Debra Taylor Jenkins, 71, of Cuthbert, Georgia, affectionately called “Debbie” by those she loved, entered our Lord's presence on Monday morning, March 10th, 2025. A visitation will be held one hour prior at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, March 13, 2025 between 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM.  She will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum immediately following the service. 

 

In her younger years, Debbie attended Macon College and was a dedicated civil service employee in material management at Warner Robins Air Forces Base. Debbie later devoted her life to her home, husband, children, and grandchildren. Debbie met her husband at the young age of sixteen and was wed to Tommy for 51 years.  She was an animated sports fan and enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and the Masters. She was devoted to God and sustained her faith through many trials. She made sure to instill this same faith in her children and grandchildren. Debbie was known for her unconditional love to her family and friends and her sweet nature to everyone she encountered. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

 

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas A. Jenkins Jr., her two daughters: Crystal Jenkins McKinney (Jonathan) and Amber Jenkins Barnes (Trey), mother, Carolyn Ledden Taylor, and her brother, Robert Arnold Taylor Jr.. She was preceded by her son, Christopher Thomas Taylor Jenkins and father, Robert Arnold Taylor. She was a proud grandma of three grandchildren; Carolyn Ann McKinney, Thomas Owen McKinney, and Audrey Taylor Barnes.
