Raymond Case Hughes, 86, husband of the late Ruby Judy Hughes, passed away on March 14, 2025, in Versailles. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on December 3, 1938, to the late Kenneth and Lena Case Hughes.
His surviving family includes his daughters, Kristi (Chris) Wiggins, Shannon (Kevin) Hatfield, and Patricia Carmichael, his sister, Barbara Sagester, brother, Lawrence Hughes, and 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Raymond was a devoted husband who was a good provider for his wife and family. He was funny, kind, loving, and a hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hughes, daughter, Deborah Lynn Griffin, sons, David Samuel Hughes, and Anthony Ray Hughes sister, Mary Carter, brothers, Donald Hughes, Grover Hughes, Leanord Hughes, and Walter Hughes, and his grandson, Jason Hughes.
