Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Cope
May 28th, 1943 - March 15th, 2025
Lawrence Cope, also known as Larry, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from complications due to Alzheimer’s. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Laurie (Burrowes), 2 sons, Jeffrey in Virginia and Jason in New Jersey. He is also the proud Peepaw of Lindsey and Alissa, both in Virginia. Larry joined the army in 1962 on the buddy system with his good friend, Richie. Then he worked for and retired from UPS. He and Laurie moved to Virginia to be with their son and granddaughters and then to Florida. He also leaves behind his brothers, Bernard and Kenneth and sister Arlene.
A memorial service will be held at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, New Jersey at a later date.
