Linda Kay Blinkinsop of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 77. She was born on April 20, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Sarasota in 2011 from St. Charles, Missouri. Linda was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Women’s Army Corp and later in life was a housewife. She was also a member of the Southside Christian Church in Sarasota.
She is survived by her husband, David Blinkinsop of Sarasota and her two sons, Karl J. Blinkinsop and Paul D. Blinkinsop.
A viewing will be held at Southside Christian Church, 4111 Webber Street in Sarasota from 10:00AM-11:00AM with the funeral service to follow. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00AM. Memorial donations may be made to the National Fibromyalgia Association (www.fmaware.org) or to the new Coastline Christian Church (www.coastline.cc).
