Diana Sue Honaker
December 28th, 1946 - March 31st, 2025
Diana Sue Disponette Honaker, 78, wife of Norman Honaker, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. A native of Franklin County, Diana was born on December 28, 1946 to the late Kenneth and Mildred Hockensmith. She retired from The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Workforce Development Cabinet with 33 years of service and served as the Quarterly Court Clerk of Franklin County for 2 years. Diana was a member of First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Pat Jones (Bob), Louisville; her sons, Jeff Disponette and Chris Disponette (Dawn), both of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Jennifer Disponette, Kevin Booth, Cole Disponette, as well as Taylor Sutton (Michael), and Logan Disponette; and her great grandchildren, Owen Booth and Charlotte Sutton.
She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Teresa Dressman (Darren), Sadieville; and her step grandchildren, Nicole Wainscott, Whitney LeCompte, Shane Smith, and Ashland Dressman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Prentice Keith Disponette, and her sister, Shirley Hockensmith Lesher.
Serving as pallbearers will be William Guy Reed II, John Travis, Chuck Thompson, Darin Jones, Michael Sutton, Kevin Booth, and Logan Disponette.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Jack Brewer officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UK Markey Cancer Foundation.
