Patricia Ellen Milroth
July 17th, 1939 - March 28th, 2025
Patricia Ellen Milroth, 85, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away March 28, 2025. Born July 17, 1939, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Cecelia Doolittle. During her life she always said she was “39”, which technically wasn’t incorrect…. And she was truly young-at-heart.
“Patty” loved her family immensely and never met a stranger in her whole life. She was also a second-mother to many people at the Jersey Shore, Charleston SC, and here in Charlotte. “Grammy” loved being a Registered Nurse and was a passionate sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Another nickname she had was “Christmas Patty” because she loved the Holidays. She was so caring.
Patty is survived by her children Mark, Kristen, Alison, and Matthew. Four very active kids when growing up, and Patty was always in attendance to cheer them on during sporting events, cheerleading competitions, everything. The kids always knew where mom was sitting in the stands! She also had three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren that she loved with all of her heart.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Larry Doolittle.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Thursday, April 3, 2025, at The Cathedral of St. Patrick, 1621 Dilworth Rd E, Charlotte, NC 28203.
Mass of Christian burial will take place 10am Friday April 4, 2025, at the Cathedral followed by burial in Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC.
