Legacy Funeral Home – Rose Chapel
Patrick Mark Pazen
January 18th, 1948 - April 1st, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Mark Pazen, who peacefully fell asleep in death on April 1, 2025, at the age of 77 in Mesa, Arizona. Born on January 18, 1948, in Paris, France to Patricia (Hobbins) and Joseph Damon Pazen. Mark spent the majority of his life in Denver, Colorado, where he created a legacy of love and connection.
Mark was a dedicated husband to Connie Pazen, his loving partner of 51 years. Together they nurtured a beautiful family, raising three daughters – Carrie, Cathrine and Nicole who were the pride of his life. As a proud grandfather, Mark cherished his time with Ashley, Jaici, Andrew, Isabelle, Sammy, and his great-grandson Grayson. He also shared a special bond with his nephew, Paul Pazen and his wife, Shirley. Mark’s love extended to his beloved poodle, Daisy, who brought him joy and companionship.
A hardworking man, Mark built a successful career as an electrical lineman, where his dedication and expertise were well-respected. After retiring, he embraced new adventures as a consultant, traveling the world for five years, which allowed him to explore diverse cultures and meeting fascinating people. His love for travel was complemented by his passion for photography, capturing the beauty of the world and the moments that mattered most.
Mark was an avid sports fan, passionately supporting the Colorado Avalanche, the Denver Broncos, and NASCAR. He found joy in the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it brought. Mark also relished the simple pleasures of life, whether it was dining out with family and friends or engaging in heartfelt conversations with new acquaintances.
Mark’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and a zest for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date, where all who loved him are invited to share their memories and honor the remarkable man he was.
