Eric DeWayne Pfeifer, died 13 March 2025.

Born Oct 28, 1962 to George A. Pfeifer and L. C. Pfeifer in San Diego, CA. Once he graduated from High School, he enlisted in the US Air Force. After Basic Training at Lackland AFB, TX, Tech School at Keesler AFB, MS, was sent to Lowry AFB, CO. While here he met Debby, who later become his wife. He also served 1 year at Kunsan AFB, Korea and then sent back to the states and was stationed at Peterson AFB, CO.

Married Debby in Mar 1986, 4 months later involved in a head on car accident that would end his Air Force time. 1987 they moved to Escondido, CA. 1989 Nichelle was born. 1990 they moved back to Calhan, CO. Eric started working at Falcon AFB, CO as Civil Service. 1992 Meagyn was born. 1996 got transferred to Chey Mtn AFB, CO. Spent about 6 years here and then Transferred back to Schriever AFB, CO. 2008 found out that he had PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). At first just controlling it. 2015 Retired from Civil Service and 2016 started Dialysis three times a week. 1997 family were members of the Rocky Mtn Gunslingers, a re-enacting group. They continued this until 2007. 1997 family also were a chase crew for a hot air balloon. Most fun any of us had, was the day we were able to fly in the balloon. They did this for about 5 years. Still love going to watch the balloons each year during the Labor Day balloon Classic.

After years of ongoing Dialysis, got a bad infection that put him in the hospital for about a month and then on to a rehab facility. It was while here he was put into hospice and died in his sleep shortly after.

He is survived by his wife Debby, Nichelle (Anthony son-in-law), Meagyn (Buck son-in-law), grandchildren Gabe, Aby, Levi and Alex.
