Robert "Bob" Andrew Wagner
November 30th, 1944 - April 7th, 2025
Robert(Bob) Andrew Wagner was born to William J. Wagner and Aurelia Kocher on 11/30/1944 in Buffalo, New York. The family moved to Hallandale Beach, FL when Bob was 7 with his siblings older brother William Wagner of Alpharetta, Georgia and younger sister Susan Leisner of Tampa. Bob served im the Navy as a radio operator aboard the destroyer USS Steinkaker, which supported troops and aircraft carriers during the Vietnam War. Bob attended Ball State University and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. He worked as the Senior Area Supervisor for McDonald's Corporation and opened some of the first McDonald's in Polk County, Florida. He later supervised all of the Little Ceasars in Polk County and managed an aluminum fabrication company. He spent 27 years running Bob's Trailer Hitches as his retirement job. He sponsored the high school football team and fixed their equipment. His tag line was: "Bob's Trailer Hitches, where the hounds get hitched"Bob is preceded in death by his daughter Erica A. Wagner. He is survived by his wife Roxanne Youngs and sons Robert A. Wagner, and Jerry L. Rose and his four Grandchildren: Kayden, Keagan, Karsen and Ashton.
