In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, Nenita H. Ponce who passed away on April 7, 2025. She was 61 years old.Born in Canlubang, Laguna, Philippines, Nenita immigrated to the United States in 1995, bringing with her a strong work ethic, a heart full of love, and a deep commitment to family. For over 30 years, she worked in accounting, where she was known for her dedication and attention to detail. Nenita was a loving wife to her husband, Bobby and an amazing mother to her two daughters, Natasha and Naveah. She was a doting grandmother to her two grandsons, Jethro and Cayden, who brought her so much joy. In her free time, Nenita enjoyed tending to her garden, playing with her dog Stella, and cooking delicious meals that brought everyone together. Her warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her husband Bobby, her daughters Natasha and Naveah, her grandsons Jethro and Cayden, her mother Amelia, her brothers Joel and Ferdi, and sister Ammi. Rest in peace, Nene. You will always be in our hearts.
She will have visitation on Wednesday, April 16th from 1pm-5pm with a Rosary Service at 4pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel. A second day of visitation will be Thursday, April 17th from 1-8pm with a Rosary Service at 6pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel. Her Funeral will be Friday, April 18th at Healey Mortuary Chapel beginning at 9:30am followed by burial at 11am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Prunedale.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
