Gary A. Kramer 74, Jefferson, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI. Gary was born on November 1, 1950, in Fort Atkinson, WI to Al and Ruth (Zimmermann) Kramer. He graduated from Jefferson High School. Gary was co-owner of Safari Sporting Goods in Jefferson with his brother Bob. He went on to work as an electrician in the Madison area. Gary was active in the community delivering for Meals on Wheels, and volunteering at the Jefferson Senior Center. Gary enjoyed the outdoors where he would fish, hunt, and hike. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling, biking, bingo (Rage!), playing cards, Scrabble, attending plays, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Kate (Brian) Molenaar, McFarland, WI; grandchildren Bella and Adeline; sister Shirley Jackson, Fort Atkinson; and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob, Chuck, and John.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Union Cemetery in Jefferson, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family will be collecting donations for the Jefferson Senior Center and the Meals on Wheels program.
