Paul Nicholas Bedrosian, 74, formerly of Howell, New Jersey before moving to Elgin, South Carolina thirty years ago, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 17, 2025. A proud South Carolina resident he vowed never to leave. He was born to Paul K. Bedrosian and Barbara Marie Keller-Irwin-Bedrosian on November 16, 1950 in Hoboken, NJ. Survived by his beloved wife, Linda; dear children, Christopher, Derek Schroeder and Valerie O’Dell, her husband Brian; and treasured grandchildren, Riley and Brian; siblings, Donna Irwin, Peter Bedrosian and his wife Mary, and David Bedrosian and his wife Mary; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Paul retired from Broad River Correctional Facility in 2012, where he was a corrections sergeant and enjoyed meeting up monthly with the friends he made while working there. He was a friendly, kind man who never knew a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is known for his love of his Harley and participated in various runs and fundraisers, his love of and talent for music, fishing, camping and his backyard chickens.
At Paul’s request, no service will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Paul’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis TN, 39105.
