Barbara Mae Allen Gaston

Barbara Mae (Allen) Gaston, 87 passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1937 in New Britain, Connecticut, the first of 7 children born to Frank Allen Jr and Jenny (Ferrarino) Allen.
Barbara was married to Albert Gaston for over 55 years. She is survived by her son, Alan Gaston (Margery); her daughter, Robin Thorne (Michael); grandson, Benjamin Thorne (Patricia); grandsons, Iain and Thomas Thorne; grandsons, Scott and Charlie Spahn; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and loving companion, Ralph Roscoe. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; and son Kevin Gaston.
Barbara was retired from a career in banking and corporate credit management. After retirement she enjoyed travel, quilting, and volunteering with her church.
Services for Barbara will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crossfire Ministries, The Old Mutt Hut, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
