It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Vern Patterson, born on December 7, 1934, in Long Beach, California. Harry departed from this world on April 28, 2025, in Olympia, Washington, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and laughter.

Harry is survived by his devoted spouse, Dolores (Dolly) Patterson, and their daughter, Margret Wunsch, who is married to John. His daughter Debbie Miller, and her husband, Robert. Harry's family extends to his beloved nieces, Donna and Dixie; his nephew, Dan; along with ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored.

In addition to his immediate family, Harry was predeceased by his parents, his sister Pat Bradshaw, and his daughter Bekki Patterson. Each of these departed souls held a special place in Harry's heart, and their memories will forever remain an integral part of his legacy.

Harry's educational journey began at Clallam Bay High School and continued at Olympic College and Oregon State College. He pursued a successful career in the field of computer programming, contributing his skills to notable organizations including Boeing and Ticor Title. Throughout his professional life, he held various roles, culminating in his position as Title Manager at Kitsap and Whatcom Court Jr Auditor. He was respected for his dedication and professionalism, which saw him rise to the ranks of manager, trainer, and regional manager at Holiday Retirement.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Harry was known for his personality, characterized by a dry sense of humor and a quiet, soft-spoken demeanor. His quick wit and beautiful blue eyes were often the windows to his kind heart. He found joy in woodworking, golfing, and square dancing, pursuits that defined his leisure time and brought him immense pleasure.

Harry is remembered fondly by those who had the privilege to know him. His gentle spirit and understated charm will be dearly missed. Those wishing to express their condolences may do so in their own special way.
