Renee Dawn Lawver, born October 12, 1976, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025. She was pre-deceased by her father, Terry Lawver, mother, Charlotte Faye Thrower, and brother-in-law, Daniel Carter.
Renee was a proud mother who loved her children and husband very deeply. She enjoyed the outdoors enjoying nature, the sun, animals, and the breeze. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the works of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and the horror genre alike. An avid fan of true crime, she loved documentaries that went into depth about real life cases about cults, cult leaders and the estranged in-betweens. To wind down, she would watch her favorite sitcoms including The Golden Girls, Roseanne, and Young Sheldon. She enjoyed the music of Tupac, Chuck Brown, and Fifty Cent. Among other things, Renee never forgot where she came from. She was proud of her upbringing in Prince Georges County and the opportunity to have lived a life that empowered her to do amazing things.
Renee is survived by her Husband, Ronald Dean Willis, II., her son, Ronald Dean Willis, III., and Daughter, Kelcie Lynn Willis. Her younger sister, Kelly Thrower Ramsey, her nephews, Morris Ramsey, and Drake Ramsey, and her brother-in-law, Steve Ramsey. Renee loved to spend time with her immediate and extended family, including her Sister-in-law, Christina Holtzclaw, Brother-in-law, Jeff Holtzclaw, Mother-in-law, Nancy Catron, her lifelong friend of 30 years, Janet Godbold Tappendorf, and her cherished cats, Charlie, Cupcake and Chipmunk.
Leaving to cherish her memories are a loving husband, children, sister, many, many loved ones, family, and friends.
