In Loving Memory of Thomas Richard "Tom" Bengle
February 6, 1953 – May 1, 2025
Wimauma, Florida
Thomas Richard Bengle, affectionately known as “Tom,” passed away peacefully at the age of 72 in Wimauma, Florida. Born on February 6, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, he spent many years in Fanwood, New Jersey, before eventually settling in Florida, where he embraced the sunshine, long walks, and reading at the beach.
Tom worked for many years as an A/C, Heating, and Refrigeration Mechanic with Sullivan and Associates. Whether he was meticulously fixing a unit or tuning into the latest NASCAR race, Tom was a man of quiet dedication, sharp intellect, and dry humor that left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Bengle (née DePalma), whose family also held a special place in his heart and shared many cherished memories. He is also survived by his brothers, Charlie Bengle (and wife Carol), Victor Bengle (and wife Jan), and nephews Brendan and Craig Bengle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marjorie Bengle, and his nephew, Michael Bengle.
