Wayne E. Rose, 92 of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on May 6th, 2025 at Addington Place College Harbor. Wayne was born in Ottawa, IL on April 4th,1933, joined the Air Force in September,1951, as a Lineman, and he was honorably discharged in September 1955. It was there that he met his future wife, Doris Goldberg.  They were inseparable during their 60 years of marriage, and raised a beautiful daughter, Sheryl, in St Petersburg , FL. Doris, the love of his life, passed away May 12th, 2015.

 

Wayne retired from Square D in 1988 and Ametek in 1996 after holding the position of quality control inspector for many years. Wayne was also an avid baseball fan, loved the Tampa Bay Rays, and spent many evenings/weekends watching the Rays play on TV. Wayne loved his music as evidenced by his large collections of albums .  

 

Wayne is survived by his daughter Sheryl Keyt, his granddaughter Rachel Keyt of Sacramento, and will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Doris.
