James Kirby Tennent, born on September 3, 1953, in West Palm Beach, Florida, left us peacefully on May 6, 2025, in Warner Robins, Georgia. A devoted father and loyal friend, he will be deeply missed by his sons, Christopher, Kirby (Megan), and Timothy Tennent, as well as his fiancée, Starr Riegelsberger, and brothers, Roger and Mike Tennent.

James proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his strong character and commitment. After his military service, he became a familiar face at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, where his helpful nature made a lasting impression on customers and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, James had a passion for soccer. He not only played but also coached with the Central Georgia Soccer Association, sharing his love for the game with countless young athletes. He was known for his hands-on approach around the house, always ready to lend a hand to family and friends.

James is preceded in death by his father, William Edward Tennent, mother, Bette Jane Sanford Tennent, and late wife, Diane Lopez Tennent.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, May 17th, at 2:00 PM, at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family welcomes all who knew James to come and share their fond memories. He will always remain in our hearts.
